📱 How to Export Timeline Data

Android

  1. Go to Settings > Location > Location Services > Timeline.
  2. Tap Export Timeline Data.
  3. Save the .json file and transfer it to your computer.

iPhone

  1. Open the Google Maps app.
  2. Go to Your Timeline from your profile.
  3. Tap the â‹® menu > Location and privacy settings.
  4. Tap Export Timeline Data.
  5. Save/share the .json file and transfer it to your computer.

Then upload the file above to visualise your movement heatmap!
